Simulated Sketches

One day while surfing the Internet, I discovered a photo processing technique in photo editing software that resulted in pencil like "sketches" from photographs. I really liked the effect and started experimenting on my own. I soon became frustrated that all of the techniques seemed to require high key photographs and I was finding that I could not get the results that I wanted with darker subjects. After playing around with several different techniques to produce these pencil like "sketches" from photographs and tweaking them to suit my purposes, I have discovered a process that I really like and am having wonderful success with. The technique that I use does not limit the subject matter of the photographs to those of high key images.

I am very excited and pleased to offer this special service to my clients. Once your on-line proofs have been made available to you, you may now order "pencil sketches" made from any of your photographs.

Simulated sketches are printed on Ilford Galerie Smooth Fine Art Paper with an Epson R2400 archival quality printer.  They are signed, dated and then sprayed for even longer lasting properties.
